Trailparts™ axle components are renowned for their quality and consistency, and using only the best quality components means customers can specify these critical parts with absolute confidence. It’s the detail that makes the difference, and Dacromet hubs, high grade 1045 axle steel and quality bearings are standard features of all hubs and stub axles.
Trailparts Unihub uses unit bearings with back-to-back duplex designs and integrated seals. These feature super-finished bearing raceways and a lower coefficient of friction in operation, in turn generating less heat and leads to longer life. Bearings are also preloaded at manufacture, which means the chance of an installer causing damage through over-tightening is eliminated.
Both variants we use are a sealed-for-life design that doesn’t require any maintenance. When used on Trailparts assembled axles, in conjunction with the secondary seals being fitted, carry a 3 year warranty - another Australia trailer industry first.
A wide range of non-braked hub and stub sets are available, from 1500kg road going through to low speed 6800kg agricultural versions.
The Strike! and Patriot disc brake series are making waves with their industry leading performance and efficiency, whilst featuring the ability to retro-fit to older axles in the marketplace. Other low-cost and full stainless options are also available. Great for marine application.
A range of drum brakes is available, from lightweight 9” hydraulic to 10" electric versions. Drum brakes still have an active and valued role in trailer brakes, suiting as they do specific applications.

With all Trailparts™ axle parts, we offer a simple and cost effective “custom axle manufacturing service. These are manufactured and assembled in-house to ensure accuracy and fast turnaround times. Hot dip galvanized and pre-galvanized versions are available, along with other variations such as dropped and gullwing designs.
